I had the pleasure of working with Everlast Construction recently, and I have to say, that it was a great experience. They were extremely professional, dedicated and knowledgeable about every question that I had. Not to mention, I never had to worry about any lack of response. Any question I had would immediately be answered, even after what I would consider to be "office hours." We wanted to redo our kitchen in Walnut Creek and get some other bathroom and basement home renovations done and they have made this process incredibly easy for me. Everything was carefully explained to me and finished right when they said it would be done. I can't recommend them enough!
They did a wonderful job at our house ! It's a great company ! Great ppl!! Very professional.
They helped us remodel our bathroom ! I didn't know exactly what I wanted just knew It needs to be done , so they helped me with advices and recommendations by their experiences and they nailed it!! Bathroom looks like out of a catalog!
They also helped us remodel our kitchen and dining area, made it big open space , looks very good , very lightning and now there is so much space for everyone!
They are very professional they have good eye for design !
Thank you Everlast Construction!!
My husband and I are not regular YELP Review contributors but when goods or services warrant a shout-out, we would write. We live in a fairly small older home (built in 1929) in San Francisco. As former 12-unit apartment landlords in SF, we know all too well the strict codes associated with housing, rentals and safety violations. This alone turns off many contractors. We began our search for a contractor to remodel our cramped, dated kitchen (1950s) and to do a major makeover of the exterior of our house (leaking roof and interior, uneven windows, cracked stucco walls, dry rotted deck stairs, dry rotted basement doors, etc.). During the summer of 2016, we contacted close to 15 contractors based on personal referrals and legitimate reviews, and many did not even return our calls. We did more research and came across EVERLAST Construction. When we held our consultation with Ariel, the owner, we were impressed with Ariel's vast expertise of the whole remodeling process. He patiently took the time to go over details before we signed.
Our project was completed in time for the holidays and recent rain storms. Quality and craftsmanship had not been sacrificed, we stayed on budget, permits pulled timely, and inspection recommendations were corrected immediately. GIDON, our quality control and Project Manager oversaw the project from beginning to completion. GIDON is professional, prompt, extremely patient and knowledgeable. He was always responsive to our needs and concerns every inch of the way. His great insight to our unique remodeling challenges helped to alleviate our stress. He continued to check in with us after the project was completed. For a small house that hasn't been remodeled since the 1950's, we now enjoy a new roof and roof tile patching; new exterior paint and patched stucco wall; new deck stairs; all new windows; and best of all - totally redesigned and remodeled kitchen (new countertops, new cabinets, new appliances, lighting, flooring, more space)! EVERLAST's craftsmanship and professionalism exceeded our expectations. Thanks EVERLAST for taking on our seemingly unattractive challenge where other contractors would not touch! SJ & AJ

was fun working with Everlast, they renovate our house. The quality of work was very good we are very happy from the result. We absolutely love our bathroom and kitchen.
My husband and I hired Everlast to do kitchen and two bathrooms the whole process was such a wonderful experience. Our project manager Ari is an expert in the industry and a pleasure to work with. The guys were professional and extremely neat throughout the process. I absolutely love Everlast crew they are kind, clean and they care about our house. It has almost everything you need for doing a complete kitchen makeover. I was able to pick out my cabinets, hardware, sinks and faucets in all in one place that work with Everlast and gave us great deal. What really gave me reason to give them five stars is Everlast stands behind their product. I had a minor problem with the finish on a couple of the cabinets and Everlast took care of it without hesitation. We love our kitchen! Thank you Ari and your team.
We worked with *** at Everlast to design & renovate our complete kitchen remodel. He was really great to work with from start to finish. *** took the time to figure out what our design tastes were and used that to guide us every step of the way. There were a lot of decisions to make but he was able to narrow things down where it was not overwhelming. The teams that worked were top notch and did a great job. We did not run into any issues at all with the work. We are very happy with how the project turned out and would highly recommend Everlast for your kitchen remodel.

The best company to work with! Quality work dedicated staff. Highly recommended
We recently worked with Everlast to do a significant remodel to our home that include kitchen, bath and general areas. Ari & Gideon did a great job selecting a small set of options for things like countertops, plumbing and light fixtures, carpet, tile, doors and paint so I was able to quickly make my final selections. I also happened to find a beautiful hammered copper stove hood online and they were able to get that hood for my project. I was quite impressed with the way they worked with their employees both in terms of the initial job bidding as well as with scheduling during the project. Ari the project manager who worked with me was fantastic. If he wasn't at the house that day he always checked in with me to ensure I knew what was happening the next day and who would be in the house. If some unexpected thing came up he was immediately on top of the situation and had the right people there quickly to keep progress moving. The designer was also very responsive to questions or additional things that came up I wanted to add to the project. he quickly researched options and was able to get any materials ordered quickly. We were leaving on a long vacation so had a hard deadline to complete the work. The initial estimate was 2-3 months and I am really pleased the work finished in 2 months and 4 days! When we left on vacation there were just a few very small things outstanding that were resolved upon our return. I feel like we have a new home at this point with custom finishes. I am extremely happy with the results and everyone who has seen the work is very impressed as well. I would definitely recommend ever last construction.
4 star product, 2 star project management.
Everlast construction remodeled our bathroom, added skylights and hook ups for a washer and dryer in our unit in San Francisco. While the price was reasonable and the finished product looks excellent the process was unnecessarily stressful.
To summarize, the project took twice as long as quoted, the communication was poor and there were a handful of avoidable situations which were not handled well by the project manager. If I wasn't involved as much as I was we would not have been happy with the finished product. If you end up using them, be prepared to babysit them every step of the way as they are not proactive.
Here are the details:
We met with the project manager, Gil, on a Sunday who was very pleasant and gave us an estimate right away. In order to make me feel comfortable going with them for the project, Gil even let me visit one of his current jobs. This was a nice gesture but was a bit odd as the owner was there and did not seem to know I was coming.
After committing to go with Everlast we were not able to start right away as we were on vacation. When I asked if there was anything I could do to prepare, Gil told me to enjoy the time off and not worry. When it finally came time to start the project I got a text from Gil on a Friday asking if they could start demo on Monday. After agreeing, he proceeded to ask if I had all of the materials (drain, skylights, vanity and shower head kit) even though he had not given me a timeline for having these materials when I originally asked nor are they needed for demo. The communication style continued in this fashion for the rest of the project, pressuring me for decisions, materials and payments while the actual work lagged behind.
While the construction went relatively smooth during the whole project, I found myself having to come home from work at lunch to communicate details to the workers directly so we could get what we wanted. If I didn't, they would make important decisions without asking me. That said, in most cases the workers had a good attitude and were able to accommodate my requests. Communicating through Gil was not very effective as he would almost always have to consult the workers and would not get back to me.
Additionally, the workers were pretty lax about covering the apartment to keep the dust out. Originally Gil said they would put up plastic zipper covers to separate the work area from the rest of the house but when demo started they just closed the bathroom door. When we returned home after a long weekend, the house was covered in dust. There seemed to be a lot of these bait and switch situations during the projects.
Though there were many hiccups during this project which could have been prevented, here are a few that stood out:
* The roofers got on my next door neighbor's roof without asking in order to install the skylights. My neighbor was not happy about this to say the least.
* One of the workers disconnected power to a circuit for my downstairs neighbor's unit and did not admit to it after being asked multiple times. This caused a long, drawn out ordeal with my neighbor ending with Gil bringing in an electrician to restore power but not after my neighbor wasted time and money hiring her own electrician.
* When it came time to fabricate the counter top for the vanity, Gil proposed using his counter top fabricator to save time as our fabricator had a 10 day lead time from template to install. After agreeing to this and cancelling our template appointment, Gil informed us that his guy could no longer do it and that the generalist who had been doing the other work in the bathroom would do it with another "professional". I was not happy about this but had no choice but to accept. Later I found out that the generalist did the counter top fabrication in his parents' garage and the finished quality reflected that. After this last incident, I felt betrayed and could no longer trust Gil and the crew.
While I am relatively satisfied with the final product, the stress of working with Everlast was exhausting. If you go with them, be prepared to take time off work to manage the project and make sure to keep them honest.
I hired Everlast to renovate my kitchen and bathroom. After carefully planning the project exactly to my specifications, Ari and his team completed the work on time and within our planned budget. My house posed some challenges given that the house was built in the 1900's and Ari was able to come up with solutions to problems posed by working in an old house. I found them to be proactive, creative, responsible and thorough. The quality of their work was ver high and they made sure that I was completely happy with everything I so appreciate his professionalism, efficiency, fairness and trustworthiness. I feel very confident recommending Everlast to anyone interested in a high quality renovation of their home

One of the best companies out there. I love the fact that they stand by their work and their employees!
LOVED Ronen. We were looking at purchasing a house, actually in contract with one. My husband called and made an appointment for them to come out and take a look at our foundation, which needed completely redone. Ronen came, and was amazing. He took so much time to explain what we needed, listened to what we needed and what I wanted. Ronen, created our estimate quickly and even did follow up calls to see what was going on with our house. Unfortunately, we did not go on to purchae the house. If we would have, we definitely would have gone with Everlast to do the projects. Not only were they very polite and professional but they were the most reasonable priced as well. When we do purchase a home, and we need projects completed, we will definitely be contacting Ronen.
Iwould like to higly recommend on Everlast Construction.
I completely remodeled my kitchen and took down walls to create an open space between kitchen & dinning room. My home was a modern kitchen they built and it turned out really beautiful.
The guys were very responsive and made themselves available via email, phone/text.
They work on weekends which is fantastic.
There were a few hiccups along the way and they took care of it for us at no extra charge. Everlast construction has been great to work with! Ari was great along way with anything we wanted to add to the scope he was understanding about it. We highly recommended to anyone who need renovation work done.

Ari was absolutely wonderful! He explained the entire process and answered our questions. He helps us put together the most beautiful bathroom & kitchen, living room and great room that we have always wanted. Likewise, our Project manager Gideon answered any questions we had during the installation process, kept us informed of his progress, very considerate of the house, leaving it each day spotless and at the completion of the project made sure we were satisfied with the work and made sure all mechanical and electrical equipment worked properly. Gideon did a fantastic job on our project. He was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up like a pro would do. Our project manager communicated very well with us and with Ari the owner that was very involve in our project, Gideon and him were all on the same page. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality is above and beyond. I highly recommend them.
We hired Everlast Construction to redo Kitchen and bathroom in our our condo we knew we wanted to work with a kitchen/bath designer who could/would do more than just kitchen and baths since our kitchen is open to the living and dining areas and the place is not large and I wanted a cohesive look and feel for the whole apartment. And, I wanted to work with one person instead of multiple people.
I actually found that Everlast Construction can do design as well so we set up meeting and we discover they can do kitchen/bath design for us. So Ari came with his laptop within 40 minutes we had first preliminary design ready we had to change few things as we go, the whole process took Ari 3 hours to came up with perfect design that we really liked. ( He was in our condo for the whole time!)
We were also very lucky to work closely with Ari. he not only has a wonderful design sense, but, is supremely organized, detail oriented and always calm and patient. I worked with Ari. It was clear all the way thru the project that they truly wanted my husband and me to be happy and worked with us on design and decisions and building issues until we were... every decision and detail, both large and small. I loved the time spent with them and continue to keep in touch!
Ari kept the project going every issue we had during the project was not to bed, Ari show us how easy and fun project can be, he took care of all the issues and didn't charge us nothing, the reason was it was really small things like small dry rot in the bathroom another small issue we had was that one of the doors for the cabinets was wrong size, Ari managed to drive himself to the local manufacture and get new one at no cost to us. Was a real pleasure working with Ari.
We had questions about specific materials in the house possibly being asbestos-based. I was able to resolve it with Ari over the phone and by sending images without him needing to stop by; we identified exactly what it is (non-asbestos-based). It did not cost us a cent. Thanks Ari for efficient, honest help!
